Questions

How do I start, and do I need an account?

To be on an event's list you only need your LinkedIn QR code. For People, Circles, Ask or organising an event, tap "Join free" and sign in with a code we email you or with your LinkedIn account; there is no password. With LinkedIn, kopula gets your name, email address and photo, and never posts to LinkedIn or reads your connections.

Do I need to install an app?

No, but you can. kopula runs in your phone's browser, camera included, and a kopula app for iPhone and Android is coming to the App Store and Google Play. Add kopula to your home screen from the browser: on Android, tap "Install app"; on iPhone, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen", and sign in once with the code we email you.

How long is my data kept?

A list is kept until the deletion date shown on it, at most 30 days after the event's date; then everything on it is permanently deleted. If you signed in, your photo, labels and LinkedIn link stay on your account, for all your events, until you delete it. Other retention periods are in the privacy statement.
